Beach passes (badges or wristbands) will be required to access Asbury Park Beaches from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend as follows:
Starting Saturday, 5/24/25 through Sunday, 6/15/25 - Weekends and Holidays Only
Starting Monday, 6/16/25 through Monday, 9/1/25 - Every Day (Weekdays, Weekends and Holidays)
Beach passes will not be required to access the beach starting Tuesday, 9/2/25. After Labor Day lifeguards will not be on duty and swimming is prohibited.

Paying for Parking
The City utilizes a pay-by-plate system for metered parking. Please read the Pay-by-Plate FAQs to find out more about what this means for visitors to Asbury Park. Parking Map
Public Parking is available on-street as well as in surface parking lots and a parking garage. Find public parking and view parking regulations on the Metered Parking Map. The rates found on the metered parking areas on the map correspond with the rate table below.

On-street parking can be purchased at parking meters or on your smart phone. Park quickly and easily using a one of the phone applications available at ParkingApp.com.

Dogs are not permitted on any portion of Asbury Park Beaches other than the Asbury Park Dog Beach at any time. In summer, dogs are permitted on Asbury Park Dog Beach after 6:30 p.m. only and are not permitted on Asbury Park Dog Beach during the day. The Asbury Park Dog Beach runs from the Deal Lake Drive beach entrance north to the Fisherman's Parking lot beach entrance.
Dogs are not permitted on the boardwalk from May 16 through September 14.
